"RCG Strategies has provided us with invaluable
assistance in leaning out our production flow and reducing
operating costs through their work facilitating kaizen
and 3P events. Patrick Ryan’s prior industrial
experience combined with his lean expertise provided
us with perspective, know-how, and results we may not
have received from a professional consultant without
such as background.
RCG Strategies has contributed
greatly to our lean efforts over the last few years
which
have resulted
in significant reduction in our cycle times,
inventory, and costs; all of which had a significant corresponding
positive impact on our leadtimes, delivery performance,
and profitability. RCG
Strategies work with us has been key in helping
us achieve our goals such as reducing cycle times,
inventories,
and variable manufacturing
costs. RCG Strategies work with us has been key in improving on-time
delivery
performance, reducing leadtimes, and increasing profitability." |

| “Patrick and Kevin Ryan have worked over the
past several months with our plant management group,
supervisors and an ethnic diverse group of employees
on the implementation of the LEAN Manufacturing program.
Patrick and Kevin were able to grasp the core issues
immediately, got the groups to focus on the problem
and not the symptoms and guided the Kaizen Teams thru
the process to deliver positive results almost immediately.
RCG Strategies also has the ability to work with difficult
individuals and make them into positive contributors
and supporters of the Kaizen project. We should have
done this LEAN process many years ago!" |

| "In early 2004 SeaTac Packaging started working with
RCG Strategies on a lean manufacturing initiative.
Initial skepticism on the part of some of the participants
passed rapidly, and we were all surprised at the insight
we got into our process with Value Stream Mapping,
and how much non-value-added activities were able to
be identified and eliminated simply by uncovering them.
In fact, within a relatively short period of time operations
were reorganized around value streams where more direct
focus and accountability could be given to our key
production processes. Patrick Ryan led us through a
series of setup reduction Kaizen events that further
improved our productivity, and introduced the concepts
of 5S and TPM, both of which remain in use today.
Patrick also led us through Hoshin Planning sessions
which we found extremely valuable first for “grounding” the
organization, and then as a strategic planning tool.
We have incorporated certain elements of Hoshin Policy
Deployment into our goal-setting process and as a
performance scorecard.
We continue to work periodically with Patrick as
we continue down the path toward Lean Enterprise.
One of the recent activities was business process
Value Stream Mapping to improve office administration
functionality and efficiency. The benefits of the
training and incorporation of the lean manufacturing
elements we have learned have been numerous, and
we couldn’t be more pleased and satisfied with
the expertise and guidance from RCG Strategies." |

| "RCG Strategies Lean training and guidance over
the past two years has made it possible for our Team
to double our production volume while only adding 35%
more direct labor. This was a tremendous savings. The
use of value stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams, and
non-value-added activity reduction/elimination in form
of kaizens was instrumental in this accomplishment.
At the same time, we were able to reduce our lead-times
on our most active product lines and now lead our industry.
Inventory has been reduced, space is available, quality
is improved, and clutter is gone.
Most importantly, Patrick and Kevin Ryan have successfully
trained many of our employees. They now think in
terms of waste elimination and have much better vision
in spotting it. Our Customers are happy, we are more
profitable than ever, and our employees are very
involved in making the work here not just a job but
a growing, learning experience they can take with
them into the future." |

| "Pat Ryan worked with AEG on a very challenging, time sensitive matter. Pat immediately took a leadership role and worked through a series of difficult business and personnel issues, while focusing on delivering tangible results. We look forward to working with Pat again in the future." |

"Pat Ryan started MechTronics of Arizona on it's LEAN journey just shy of
two years ago. His technical knowledge of LEAN is only equated by his
"tribal knowledge"/ shop floor implementation skills. At a higher level, Pat
trained our parent company's executives in the use of policy deployment,
which is now a key element of our long range planning.
Pat has recently assisted us in kicking off a new Supply Chain Management
initiative as well.
One of Pat's many strengths is his bed-side manner." |
